City · Dual department
One department covering two cities. Mesquite and Dallas share the same officers, fleet, and command, with city streets, investigations, and SWAT-capable cars on both sides of the line.
County
Patrol, courts, jail, and countywide calls. DCSO is the backbone of the map — rural highways, city edges, and everything in between.
State
Highway, traffic, and statewide enforcement. If it happens at 90 on a farm-to-market road, DPS is already rolling.
Wildlife
Lakes, brush, and backroads. Wardens handle wildlife, rural enforcement, and the parts of Texas that don’t have sidewalks.
State
Major cases and statewide investigations. When a scene outgrows a local badge, Rangers step in.
Fire / EMS
Structure fires, brush, wrecks, and medical. DFD runs a full fire package — not a “press E to heal” department.
Medical
Medics check vitals, run a patient portal, and treat scenes instead of magically resetting health.
Federal
Major crimes and felony probation. Marshals carry a caseload, fit ankle monitors, and track the people they are responsible for.
Aviation
Air operations for the county. An earned aviation role, separate from patrol specialties.
Staff
DHS is the staff team. They oversee the county, review operations, and keep the departments in line.
Public works
Roadwork, signals, and outages from a custom tablet app. Civilians who keep the county moving.
Recovery
Tows, heavy recovery, invoices, and shop books — not a magic despawn command.
Performance
Dyno, tunes, shop contracts, and finances on the LB tablet. Car culture with paperwork.

A civilian crew that tracks severe weather across the county and works the storms when they come through.

A members racing club for street and track nights across Dallas County.

An outlaw motorcycle club. Patches, ranks, and club business on two wheels.
